Unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision to permanently close sahil street food in bakewell.

Due to a change in circumstances we are shifting resources to our restaurant in Copenhagen. This has made running the Bakewell restaurant unsustainable for us.

we know a lot of people will be very disappointed by this news, and we truly are sorry.

The first Sahil Restaurant was opened in 1978, and was the first Indian/Pakistani restaurant in Denmark to offer dishes prepared according to the country's original traditional recipes. The taste you can enjoy in our restaurant today is therefore based on an uncompromising approach to the world-famous food tradition in Pakistani cuisine and 38 years of experience in cuisine in Denmark.

The restaurant in Copenhagen is still there to this day, located at Havnegade 33. We are now bringing those same flavours, plus new dishes, to the small humble town of Bakewell, UK.

At Sahil, we take great care that all guests experience the good atmosphere in the cafe, which is why you will always experience our employees positive and friendly. The employees of Sahil are all founders of the restaurant, working hard to bring the traditional recipes of Pakistan and India to the small town of Bakewel.
